Which hosting plan for a farm or agricultural business: catalogue, orders by WhatsApp and slow connections

The short answer: a farm’s site is usually a simple catalogue: what it produces, when, where to buy and how to order. It is light, and the entry plan is fine. What decides whether it sells is being easy to open on a phone with a weak signal and having a direct contact.
What weighs, and what does not
| Part of the site | What to do |
| Products | A photo, the name, the unit and the price as text (not in an image), with the date of the last update. |
| Seasons | What is available changes with the year. Pick a tool in which the team can change the text without asking anyone. |
| Orders | Often the phone and WhatsApp are enough. See Putting WhatsApp on your site and The WhatsApp Business catalogue. |
| Slow connections | Buyers may be in an area with little signal. Light pages, few big photos: A site that loads on slow mobile data. |
| How to get there | The address, directions in text and a call button. See Being found on Google. |
How to choose, step by step
|
|
|
|
| Promise only what you can deliver on the date. If the catalogue says a product is available and it no longer is, the customer is worse off than without a catalogue. Update it or say “on request”. |
| An Instagram or Facebook account does not replace the site: people search on Google and want to see the price and contact without having to log in anywhere. |
