Transfer a .ao domain from DNS.AO: step by step

Many Angolan companies registered their domain directly with DNS.AO, Angola's national domain registry, and over time want to move it to a provider that handles everything in one place — domain, hosting and e-mail. That is possible, and the site does not go down while it happens.

3 We handle the request with DNS.AO and confirm with you, before going ahead, what is payable and the new renewal date.
4 While it runs, the site and e-mail keep working — nothing is switched off during a transfer.
Do this before the domain is close to expiring. A transfer requested at the last minute may not complete in time, and an expired domain is far harder (and more expensive) to recover than to transfer.
