National extensions immediately say where your company is. Angola has several, each with an intended audience.

Who runs these extensions
| 1 |

Extensions with special requirements
Not all of them are open to everyone — and the paperwork required differs from one to the next:
| 1 |
.edu.ao — education institutions; proof of status may be requested.
| 2 |
.org.ao — meant for organisations and associations, not commercial activity.
| 3 |
.gov.ao and .mil.ao — state and military bodies; not registered by private parties.
If you request one of these, you may be asked for documents proving you qualify, and the review takes longer than an ordinary registration. If you do not qualify, use the commercial extension instead.
Registering more than one is common and cheap against the risk: it stops anyone else using your name on another extension, and they can all point to the same site.
